Sprig Punch Wreath

I love using our products for more than just cards.  When I saw the new Sprig punch, I immediately saw individual wreath sprigs and new I wanted to make something for my office door.

I used our Adhesive Sheets to make it easier to apply the sprigs to the wooden wreath base.  The colors are Lemon Lime Twist, Garden Green, Mossy Meadow, and all three colors from the Peaceful Noel Glimmer Paper (Tranquil Tide, Copper, Merry Merlot).

After I had it all put together, I attached my double bow using our Reversible Merry Merlot/Copper Ribbon and our Linen Thread.  Then, I spritzed it with our Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with 70% Rubbing Alcohol, and added some of our Red Rhinestones.  This wreath really has some sparkle and shimmer to it that is just AH-WESOME!.

Hopefully this wreath will inspire you to think “outside the card” with our products.  Our coordination is in a league of its own!  Show me your creative uses for this punch in the comments below!

Varied Vases & Petal Promenade

Varied Vases

This card features the amazing Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper and the fabulous Varied Vases Bundle.  The Varied Vases Bundle was co-designed by one of our very own demonstrators, Mary Fish, as part of her reward for reaching $1 Million in career sales!

TIP:  When creating your Vase to be punched out, you will want to use a strip of scrap cardstock and stamp the image at the top of the strip with the narrow part of the vase at the top.  This will help you to line up the vase in the punch easier.  You will also want to turn your punch upside down and line up your stamped image in the opening and punch like the image below.

Love What You Do

I'm Lucky

This is another card we made in June’s Handmade is Awesome class.  This card features our lovely Share What You Do Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Lovely Floral Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder and our Pearlized Doilies. Its a simple design that packs a WOW.  What you can’t see in this picture very well is that the Designer Paper has a clear embossing finish over it, that coupled with the doily, really makes an elegant impact!  Don’t hoard your paper, cut it and use it, hence the term: #LoveitChopit!

During the month of July, you can take advantage of our Buy 3 Get 1 FREE Sale on some of our Designer Series Papers. This short video highlights the papers that are available in this promotion:

Animal Outing – I’m Wild About You

Animal Outing

This is another card we made in my June Handmade is Awesome class and it features the Animal Outing stamp set that I got for FREE by attending OnStage!  Isn’t this simple Rhino and his little bird friend just adorable!  This card could be used for many occasions and is a lot of fun to make.  Just stamp, color, assemble, embellish… done.

The images are stamped on Shimmery White Cardstock, and there is a little Wink of Stella on the Rhino’s tusk to give him some “flair”.  The Shimmery Cardstock is so forgiving when using Blends… you can just keep laying that color down and the cardstock holds up wonderfully!

TIP:  Line your image and sentiment up on the Stamparatus so you can easily re-stamp if you are unable to get a good image on the first go.  You can also easily make multiples of these adorable cards with the Stamparatus too!

TIP: Remember to use our Tuxedo Memento Black Ink when coloring with our Blends!  Blends are alcohol-based and our Memento is water-based.  The mis-match of bases will keep the colors from “mixing” and running when you’re coloring.

Painted Glass Bundle & Graceful Glass Designer Vellum

Painted Glass

This is one of the cards we made at my June Handmade is Awesome class featuring the Painted Glass Bundle and coordinating Graceful Glass Designer Vellum.  The ladies in the class loved this card, and the vellum over the bright new in-color, Pineapple Punch, really makes it pop!  Our new Stampin’ Blends color so well on our Graceful Glass Designer Vellum, and the vellum comes with the images pre-printed so you all you have do is color!

TIP:  You can color either side of the vellum with the Stampin Blends. For a darker effect, used the side with the raised black outlines and the Dark Blends.  For a lighter effect, color the “flat” back of the vellum.

TIP:  Use just a little of our Liquid Tombow Glue on the corners of the vellum to attach it, and you will not see the glue through the vellum.
